Stephanie Louden

A native of Las Vegas, Louden started playing golf at the age of 7. Under the direction of Kim Dolan, her first golf coach, and her father Larry Keever, she developed her golf game and competed on the American Junior Golf Association circuit, where she became a three-time AJGA All-American selection.

At Cimarron-Memorial High School in Las Vegas, Louden won the 1996 Nevada State Championship.

Louden matriculated to Stanford University in 1997. Her impressive amateur career took off after she won the 1997 Women’s Western Amateur Championship. From 1998-99, she was a quarterfinalist at the U.S. Women’s Amateur Championship. In 1998, she was a finalist at the Women’s Trans-National. She won three collegiate tournaments and was a four-time All-American at Stanford, leading the Cardinal to its highest NCAA finish ever at the 2001 NCAA Championship. In 2000, Louden was a member of the U.S. Curtis Cup and World Amateur Teams.

In 2001, Louden turned professional after qualifying for the Tour on her first attempt. She has played full-time on the LPGA for the past eleven years. She carded a career-low 64 in the final round of the Welch’s/Fry’s Championship in 2003.  Her highest LPGA finish was fifth at the SemGroup Championship in Tulsa in 2007.

Louden was a member of the LPGA Player Executive Committee for the 2006-08 seasons, serving as vice president for the 2008 Tour season.
