Cliff Findlay

Cliff Findlay's support of local athletics dates back to his days as a 6'8" forward for the UNLV basketball team. Since that time, Findlay has become one of the area's biggest sports supporters as well as one of its most successful automobile dealers.

After turning down an opportunity to play for the Portland Trail Blazers in 1970, Findlay joined his father's business, Findlay Oldsmobile, and worked in various departments before being named General Manager in 1978.  He became CEO in 1979 when his father retired. The growth of Findlay Automotive began in 1990 when Findlay was awarded the Saturn franchise and opened Saturn of West Sahara in Las Vegas. Findlay Automotive has grown rapidly since then and now consists of 22 automobile dealerships in Nevada, Utah, Idaho and Arizona. The organization is one of the largest privately held dealership groups in the nation. Currently, Findlay serves as the president of the Findlay Automotive Group.

Findlay is widely recognized as a leader in both the community and the automobile industry. He is the President of the Nevada Franchised Dealers Association and has also served on the National Dealer Council for both General Motors and Toyota.

Findlay is very active in many charitable causes. He is the founder of the Findlay Education Foundation which funds the Findlay Preparatory Academy at Henderson International School. As a former Runnin' Rebel he maintains close contact with UNLV and is a long-time supporter of UNLV athletics.
